Our interactive, self-paced online Telemetry course is designed to train non-experienced or experienced medical professionals or aspiring students in how to read and interpret cardiac monitors while teaching you the skills needed to thrive in the field of Telemetry.

Our Telemetry Course consists starts off with an introduction to Telemetry and ECGs. The course begins with an introduction to the cardiovascular system and the anatomy of the heart. Once students gain confidence in the anatomical foundations, they will then be introduced to the basics of operating an ECG. Everything is then tied together with the fundamentals of reading cardiac monitors.

Every Telemetry Student will also have access to a dedicated instructor, whom they can contact directly as they are taking the course for help or questions. The instructor will be either a Physician or Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Your Telemetry instructor will contact you soon after registering for the course via e-mail introducing themselves and explaining the self paced course. A hard copy book will also be mailed directly to you as a supplementary resource. Students will receive a certification of completion once they have completed the course through the NTA. This certification may be used to obtain employment in the field of telemetry. There is no expiration date on the certification, however, it is strongly suggested that students plan to take the national exam upon course completion. No prior experience is needed to take this course.
