There are also other areas where ECG technicians are likely to be used, such as diagnostic labs and healthcare settings. Companies can employ ECG techs in areas where there are people, which is every area. 

You can have them be engaged in college, university, or even vocational school. The most common place you would find EKG techs is in general and surgical hospitals. Many hospice centers also require ECG technicians to ensure that their patients are properly cared for. There are also EKG Techs employed in outpatient care centers or rehabilitation centers where they are paid more than the average facility.
